ORDER
The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking interest for the belated payment of arrears of Provident Fund and Gratuity. The petitioner also seeks salary for the last 10 days worked by the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the respondent.
3. The respondent may examine the service register of the petitioner whether the aforesaid amount had been paid with delay and also examine whether all benefits had been paid. If there is a delay, then the respondent must pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of disbursal and if any amount had not been paid, the same should be paid together with interest. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
