2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to forthwith issue the Legalheirship Certificate of the deceased husband of the petitioner, namely K.Thulasiraman, to the petitioner based on the Online Application of the petitioner dated 31.10.2025 in Application No.TN - 7202510311339, within a stipulated period.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made online application dated 31.10.2025 to the respondent seeking to issue Legalheirship Certificate of the deceased husband of the petitioner, however, there is no response. Hence, this Court may without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 31.10.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.

4.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to 2/4

consider the petitioner's online application dated 31.10.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
