ORDER

By this application, the Official Liquidator seeks permission to appoint M/s.Murray and Company as the valuer-cum-auctioneer in respect of assets described in the schedule annexed to the Judge's summons. 2. In the said report, it is stated that these movable assets are stored in the premises of the respondent herein. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the application was filed at the instance of the respondent and that the respondent seeks the expeditious conclusion of the auction within a specified time limit.

3. On perusal of the schedule, it appears that the assets are in the form of furniture, computers and other interior furnishing items. These assets are likely to depreciate rapidly in value. In these circumstances, the relief claimed is liable to be granted.

4. Therefore, the application is allowed in terms of reliefs claimed at prayer clause (b) to (f) of the Judge's summons.
