This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give police protection for the demolition of the dilapidated old building of the petition premises.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has obtained permission from the Municipality for demolishing his building and that, he is seeking police protection for the same.

4. Police protection cannot be granted in such case, unless there is any apprehension of law and order problem. The petitioner shall take enough precautions by erecting screens and demolish his property without causing any disturbance to the general public. With the above observation, this petition is closed.
