Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to appoint the petitioners as "Ramzan Committee" for the Masjid-e-Quraishia Mosque (Wakf), situated at No.18, Muktharunissa Begum Street, 6th Lane, Ellis Road, Mount Road, Chennai-600 002, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2019 within the period. Mr.Md.Aseef, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioners seek for a direction to the respondents to appoint them as "Ramzan Committee" for the Masjid-e-Quraishia https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Mosque (Wakf), situated at No.18, Muktharunissa Begum Street, 6th Lane, Ellis Road, Mount Road, Chennai-600 002, by considering their representation dated 23.03.2019.

3. Heard both sides.

4. It is claimed that during the Holy month of Ramzan, a committee is being constituted every year called "Ramzan Nombu Kanji Committee". Therefore, the petitioners seek themselves to get appointed as such committee members by making such representation in the forthcoming month of Ramzan. The said representation made by the petitioners on 23.03.2019, is sought to be disposed of in this writ petition.

Considering the fact that Ramzan month commences from 07.05.2019, this Writ Petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 23.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
