This Contempt Petition is filed seeking to punish the Respondents for not complying with the directions of this Court in W.P.No.9222 of 2020 dated 04.07.2022 under Contempt of Courts Act. 2.
The operative portion of the order in W.P.No.9222 of 2020 dated 04.07.2022 :
''6.Considering the above facts and circumstances, the respondents 3 & 4 are directed not to enquire with regard to the civil dispute which is pending between the petitioner and the 5th respondent except for making enquiries with regard to the offences registered in Crime No.19 of 2018 and 438 of 2020. It is further directed to the 3rd and 4th respondent to return the documents to the petitioner standing in the name of the petitioner which were collected from the petitioner for enquiry forthwith if any.''
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the respondents/contemnors have appeared before this Court without issuing statutory notice and submitted that no documents were collected from the petitioner at the time of enquiry and the submission made by the petitioner is false one. No proof has been produced that the respondent police have collected the original documents at the time of enquiry. Page No.2 of 4
4. In view of the above, the respondents have not committed any willful default. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. 02.06.2023 rli Page No.3 of 4
