O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents and in particular, the second respondent, to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 04.10.2023, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for correction of the wrong entry made during the UDR Scheme by classifying the subject property as a Government Land.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 08.04.2025, this Court directed the learned Additional Government Pleader to take instructions on the application submitted by the petitioner on 04.10.2023. The matter was directed to be listed for hearing today.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner is pending before the second respondent.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 04.10.2023, on its own merits and in accordance with law and the final order shall be passed, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
