The petition to transfer the investigation in Cr.No.5 of 2022 pending on the file of second respondent to CBCID or any other competent agency.

2. Alleging that District Crime Branch, Thiruvallur not properly investigating the complaint, where tune of Rs.1.6 crores been cheated, the present petition is filed for transfer of investigation.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that the case has already been transferred to Central Crime Branch, Avadi and investigation has been taken up, so far as the investigation reveals that the property of the accused offered to the petitioner herein for a sum of Rs.4,23,00,000/-, but, the entire sale consideration not paid by the complainant and when he sought for return of the advance money, there is some dispute. He also states that the Assistant Commissioner, Central Crime Branch, Avadi is now the new investigating officer who will expedite the investigation and file a final report as early as possible preferably within a period of four months.
