This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to direct the second respondent herein, not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry or otherwise.

The relief sought for in this petition is to direct the second respondent herein, not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry or otherwise.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The petitioner alleges harassment on the hands of the second respondent.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would point out that a case has been registered against the son of the petitioner in Crime No.9 of 2021 under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

POCSO Act. The petitioner's son is absconding and therefore, to ascertain his whereabouts, the second respondent had enquired the petitioner. She also categorically states that there is no harassment meted out by the second respondent. 4.1. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that the victim was 5 months pregnant and later the pregnancy was terminated. In this circumstance, there is an urgency to secure the petitioner's son. It was in that context, the second respondent has to enquire the petitioner. According to the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, this by no stretch of imagination can be construed as an act of harassment.

5. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
