ORDER

This Criminal Origina Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to register the complaint dated 31.07.2015 against the persons namely (1)Shanmugam (2)Selvaraj (3)Murugan (4)Raja @ Venkatesan (5)Srinivasan (6)Chitra, W/O.K.Selvaraj (7)V.Vasanthi, W/O.K.K.Venkatesan @ Raja and other persons involved in crime and to investigate the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On the complaint dated 31.07.2015 given by the petitioner, the first respondent is conducting enquiry and that he has addressed a letter to the Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes), Ariyalur, for certain details.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced a letter dated 01.06.2016 sent by the Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes), Ariyalur, to the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Perambalur, stating that she needs some more time for getting permission from her superior officers for giving the records sought for by the Police.

5. In view of the above, the first respondent Police is directed to proceed with the enquiry on the complaint dated 31.07.2015 expeditiously and take action in accordance with law or close the complaint under due intimation to the petitioner. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
