Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 19.12.2018 and 30.03.2019 for rectification of errors crept in the Revenue records with regard to the lands measuring to an extent of 0.61.00 Hectare in Survey No.128/4-0.06.00 Hectare, in Survey No.130/1-0.27.00 Hectare, in Survey No.134/1-0.4.00 Hectare, in Survey No.135/1-0.24.00 Hectare, situated in Tiyaranadurgam Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue computerized Patta, Chitta and Village 'A' Register extract to the petitioner.

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 19.12.2018, followed by a reminder dated 30.03.2019, wherein and whereby, he sought for rectification of errors crept in the Revenue records with regard to the lands measuring to an extent of 0.61.00 Hectare in Survey No.128/4-0.06.00 Hectare, in Survey No.130/10.27.00 Hectare, in Survey No.134/1-0.4.00 Hectare, in Survey No.135/1-0.24.00 Hectare, situated in Tiyaranadurgam Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue computerized Patta, Chitta and Village 'A' Register extract to the petitioner.
3. It is stated that the petitioner's family is in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said lands for decades together. It is further stated that in the Revenue records, the above said lands have been wrongly classified as "Anatheenam". Hence, the petitioner sent a representation dated 19.12.2018, followed by a reminder dated 30.03.2019, requesting the respondents to rectify the errors crept in the Revenue records and issue computerized patta and chitta in his favour.
However, the said representations have not been considered by the respondents so far. Hence, the present writ petition is filed before this Court.

This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the 1st respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.12.2018, followed by a reminder dated 30.03.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the 1st respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
