By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.

The petitioner would state that he has done his B.A.B.L., Course [5 years] in Tamil Medium and after successful completion of the course, enrolled himself as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and he is practising at Chennai. The petitioner would further state that he is also preparing for competitive examinations conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission as well as Union Public Service Commission and since there is a preference given for candidates who have undergone the course in Tamil, he has submitted a representation to the 2nd respondent dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

23.02.2015 praying for issuance of a certificate stating that he has undergone the studies in Tamil medium and since no orders have been passed on the same, he has come forward to file this writ petition. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the typed set of papers and would submit that in similar facts and circumstances, Dr.Ambedkar Government Law College, Chennai-104, has issued a Tamil Medium Certificate dated 18.12.2014 in favour of one Thiur K.Venkatesan and prays for a similar relief. 4.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, without going into the merits of the said representation, directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2015 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
