Heard Mr.A.Ilayaperumal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate for first respondent and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader for second to fourth respondents and Mr.S.Kesavan, learned counsel for fifth respondent.
2. The petitioner seeks for issuance Writ of Mandamus directing the 5th respondent to grant loan to the petitioner under the TAHDCO2012-2013 Entrepreneur Development Programme (EDP) pursuant to the proceedings of the 4th respondent in proceeding Nodal Order No.A3/065/EDP/2014 dated 27.06.2014.
3. According to the respondent, Bank, the quotation submitted by the petitioner is grossly inflated and the very same Photostat is available at the lesser cost. This information was communicated to the District Manager, TAHDCO on 18.12.2014, who inturn should have communicated to the petitioner.
4. In the light of the above, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is entitled to approach the respondent/Bank by obtaining appropriate revised quotation by furnishing the correct amount and if the same is produced, the 5th respondent is directed to consider the same within a period of four weeks from the date on which the revised quotation is produced.
5. With the above observation, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
