Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2022 and pass a speaking order with a period fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that they have been participating in the tenders called for by the second respondent regularly. According to them, all the tenders have been awarded only to M/s.Sri Sai Sastha Protection Agency (SSSP Agency) which according to the petitioner, amounts to bias. The petitioner has given representation on 25.01.2022 to the respondents calling upon them to give reasons as to why M/s.SSSP 2/6

Agencies alone has been awarded contracts. Since the representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.R.Rajesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Ramesh, learned standing counsel for the first respondent.

4. The relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition is an innocuous one. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent has also not raised any serious objection for this Court to issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2022 referred to supra within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
