Heard Mr. S.T.Varadarajalu, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. R.Venkatesaperumal, Learned Counsel, who takes notice for the Respondent, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Petitioner, who is working as Driver in the services of the Respondent has filed this Writ Petition relying on the proceedings dated 12.02.2020 of the Medical Board constituted at Government Medical College, Villupuram on 12.02.2020 for directing the Respondent to grant him backwages with continuity of service from June 2022 in addition to alternative employment with pay protection in terms of Section 20 of the Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

Since it has been brought to notice by the Respondent that by subsequent Proceedings No.75/RMB/RGGGH/2022 dated 09.11.2022 of the Medical Board at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital certifying that the Petitioner has been found fit to continue in occupation as Driver, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and he has made endorsement to that effect in the court record. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
