Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to measure the petitioner's property in S.No.18/3, 18/4 of Annamalai Halli Village, Palacode Taluk and mark the boundaries thereof based on the petitioner's application dated 01.07.2020.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to conduct a survey in the property and to fix the boundaries based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 01.07.2020

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner along with his brothers have purchased properties and they are in common possession. The petitioner has made an application to the respondents and requested to survey the property and mark the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

boundaries, in order to enable the petitioner and his family members to fence the property.

3. Heard Mr.M.Selvam, learned counsel appearing for petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

4. It is seen from the records that the patta for the property stands in the name of the petitioner and his brothers. The petitioner has also paid the necessary charges for conducting the survey.

5. Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case and limited relief that has been sought for in the writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to take action on the application submitted by the petitioner on 01.07.2020 and complete the process of survey and fixing of boundaries within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with the copy of the representation dated 01.07.2015 and a copy of this order.

6. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
