ORDER

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to provide electricity connection to his residence situated at 5/174, Thanguandu Malai, Sri Anchiniar Kovil, Kovalam Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kanchipuram District.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 28.06.2017 claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said representation is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. However, the learned counsel submitted that it would suffice, if the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the respondents with a fresh representation to ventilate his grievances.

4.Mr.S.K.Rameshwar, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondents, has no serious objection in granting such relief to the petitioner, provided the petitioner submits all the required documents.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court permits the petitioner to submit a fresh representation enclosing all the required documents in support of his claim, along with a copy of this order to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such submission, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties within a period of four weeks thereafter. 6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
