ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition is filed to direct the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 18.03.2024 in accordance with law.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the subject property and he is in enjoyment of the property without any hindrance. While so, when the petitioner went to execute a settlement deed in favour of his son, the registration authority refused to register the said document stating that the said property is not presently private property. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents on 18.03.2024 requesting to give present status of the land. But the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the 2/4

respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 18.03.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
