This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to include the petitioner's name in the list of candidates eligible for contesting the Election conducted by the 2nd respondent for the office of the 2nd respondent and permit the petitioner to contest in the Election which is scheduled to be held on 27.04.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the 1st respondent and the learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent.

It is not known how the Writ Petition can be maintained at this stage when the election to the Board of Management of the 2nd respondent Society was already held on 27.04.2018 and the results have also been declared.

In the result, the Writ Petition fails and the same is accordingly dismissed. No costs.
