ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to give a police protection to the petitioner based upon his compliant dated 26-02-2020, the petitioner is before this Court with this Criminal Original Petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3.It is seen from the records that there is a civil dispute in respect of the property between the petitioner and one Velu. In this regard, the petitioner lodged a complaint and he was issued C.S.R.No.83 of 2020. After conducting enquiry, the third respondent closed the same on 02.03.2020. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even day before yesterday again the said person-P.Velu along with others have attacked the petitioner in respect of the peroperty dispute. He also lodged a fresh complaint before the third respondent and the same is pending for enquiry. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the earlier complaint sought for by the petitioner for police protection was enquired and closed on 02.03.2020, the third respondent is now directed to conduct enquiry on the fresh complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the fourth respondent - P.Velu and proceed further, in accordance with law.

6.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
