The respondent police herein being aggrieved by inclusion of his name in the register of History Sheet make representation to the Home Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu to delete his name. His representation dated 01.04.2024 is not yet considered, hence the present Writ Petition seeking Mandamus.

This Court after perusing the affidavit and other records is of the opinion that the representation of the petitioner dated 01.04.2024 to be disposed of by the respondent within a reasonable time and therefore, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petition within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 26.04.2024 Index : Yes/No rpl 2/4
