O R D E R

According to the revision petitioner, the revision petitioner has filed a suit in OS.No.1 of 2017 on the file of the I Additional District Judge, Salem for recovery of money. In the aforesaid suit, the respondent has filed an application in IA.No.214 of 2017 to leave to defend the suit on 02.02.2017. The said application has not been disposed so far. Hence, the revision petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition before this Court seeking a direction to the court below

to dispose of the said application within the time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner would submit that there is no legal impediment to dispose of the said application.

3. By considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the revision petitioner, without going into merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the I Additional District Judge, Salem to dispose of the application in IA.No.214 of 2017 on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably on or before 30.04.2018.

4. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with above direction. No costs.
