Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to regularise the service of the petitioner by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 23.12.2014 in the light of the recommendation of the fourth respondent dated 26.03.2013. Mrs.M.E.Raniselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

The petitioner is working in the Public Works Department from 1988 as Mazdoor(Assistant) under the control of the fourth respondent. Based on various Government orders and also taking into account the long service rendered by the petitioner, the fourth respondent has sent a proposal to the third respondent on 26.03.2013 recommending regularisation of the service of the petitioner. Since no action has been taken by the respondents, the petitioner made a representation on 23.12.2014 to the respondents 1 and 2 seeking regularisation of his service based on the aforesaid recommendation of the fourth respondent to the third respondent. But till date, no order has been passed on the said representation. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition. 3.
At the time of hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prays for a direction to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 23.12.2014 in the light of the recommendation of the fourth respondent for regularisation of the petitioner's service, particularly, taking note of the fact that he has rendered service for 30 years.

In view of the narrow prayer made, the first respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the aforesaid representation dated 23.12.2014 made by the petitioner in the light of the recommendation of the fourth respondent dated 26.03.2013 for regularisation of the petitioner's service, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
