ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 380 of IPC in Crime No.154 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with another accused waylaid the defacto complainant and snatched a cell phone and six sovereigns of gold jewel from him. Based on the complaint, the respondent police registered a case against the petitioner.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and no way connected with the alleged offence and the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that in this case there are two accused persons and the petitioner is A1. The petitioner along with other accused persons waylaid the defacto complainant and snatched a cell phone and six soverigns of gold from him. However, cell phone has been recovered from A2 and the gold chain is yet to be recovered. Hence he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. It is seen from the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the gold chain stolen by the petitioner has not been recovered so far. Considering the same, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
