The petitioners herein, who are facing an enquiry on the complaint given by one Anbu regarding dispute of the property, had initially appeared for enquiry on 27.03.2024. Thereafter, they had not participated in the enquiry, but had come before this Court alleging that the police is harassing under the guise of enquiry. 2.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that a transaction of the property owned by the defacto complainant through Power Agent is under question and therefore, on receipt of the complaint, summons was issued to the petitioners under Section 91 and 160 Cr.P.C., for production of document. Instead of producing document and cooperate with the enquiry, they have approached this Court, there is no harassment as alleged in the petition.

Taking note of the submissions, this Court directed the respondents herein to cause summons again for production of document and participate in the enquiry. On such participation, the respondent police shall proceed in accordance with law and guidelines issued by this Court.

In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
