Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent, has produced a copy of the proceedings of the respondent, dated 21.11.2022, to the effect that the respondent has considered the representation of the petitioner as per the direction of this Court in W.P.No.9536 of 2021, dated 23.07.2021, and disposed of the same. The relevant portion of the said proceedings is scanned hereunder :

2. This Court, while holding that no contempt is made out, expects that the respondent and other authorities cannot sleep over the matter to remove the encroachments, as, in this case, no patta has been issued to the lands in question and there are encroachments, which should have been removed.
