O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to restore the electricity connection.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the electricity connection was disconnected due to default in payment of the dues. Since the representation made by the petitioner was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the electricity connection was disconnected in the year 2017, on the ground of theft of electricity. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner was unauthorizedly using the electricity connection and that was also detected in the year 2019. The learned counsel submitted that the respondent is going to issue a demand notice to the petitioner by citing those reasons. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Page numbers

4.In view of the specific stand taken by the respondent, the respondent is directed to issue necessary demand notice to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner on receipt of the same shall either pay the necessary amount or if she is aggrieved, shall workout her remedy in accordance with law.

5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
