Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, praying to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience of the order of this Court on 21.12.2023 made in W.P.No.35031 of 2023. ORDER

The present Contempt Petition is filed seeking to punish the respondents for having committed contempt of Court by disobeying the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.35031 of 2023, dated 21.12.2023.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that the order passed by the Writ Court in W.P.No.35031 of 2023 dated 21.12.2023 has been complied with, since the representation of the petitioner has been considered and rejected, through proceedings in Letter No.7055/A2/2023-3, dated 22.02.2024. 2/4

3. In view of the said submission, the disobedience alleged against the respondents cannot be termed to be willful in nature. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order in accordance with law. Consequently, connected sub application is closed.
