Estate Of Mr.Rajaratnam v.

OP No.295 of 2018 R.SUBRAMANIAN.J., This original petition has been filed seeking issuance of Letters of Administration of the estate of the late Mr.S.Rajaratnam and Mrs.Violet Constance Hill, who died intestate on 12.06.2004 and 07.09.2013 respectively. The petitioner is the son of the deceased S.Rajaratnam and Violet Constance Hill.

2. The petitioner's power agent has been examined as P.W.1. He has produced the General Power of Attorney executed in his favour by the petitioner as Ex.P1. He has produced the Birth Certificate of the petitioner as Ex.P2. The Death Certificates of the deceased Brintha Rajaratnam (Petitioner's Sister), Violet Constance Hill and S.Rajaratnam, have been marked as Ex.P5, P6 and P7 respectively. A general publication has been made and no objections have been received.

3. In light of the said evidence, this Original Petition is allowed granting Letters of Administration of the estate of the deceased S.Rajaratnam and Violet Constance Hill, in favour of the petitioner.
