Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the respondents herein particularly the 1st respondent herein viz., the Inspector of Polcie, (crime) F.3, Nungambakkam Police Station, Chennai, not to harass him and his family members, unncessarily on the basis of the false and frivolous complaint given against him by his elder brother N.G.Rajendran. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents herein particularly the 1st respondent herein, not to harass the petitioner and his family members, on the basis of the complaint given by one N.G.Rajendran.

3. On a complaint given by one N.G.Rajendran, petition enquiry is pending. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall cooperate for the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
