O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 26.09.2018.

2.The petitioner has preferred a complaint to the 2nd respondent against the Village President of Goundachipudur Panchayat, contending that he had by misuse and abuse of powers indulged in criminal activities and illegally obtained several Crores of Rupees.

3.When the matter is taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the 1st respondent had sought for permission from the competent authority, viz., the Collector of Tiruppur https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and that after obtaining permission on 27.03.2019 in Na.Ka.No.1217/2015/A4, preliminary enquiry has been registered vide PE.No.26/2019/RDP/TPR. He would submit that further proceedings and action will be initiated based on the outcome of the preliminary enquiry.

4.In view of the above submission, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
