This application has been filed to extend the Mandate of the learned Arbitrator.

2. The learned counsel for the applicant would submit that on 18.05.2022, it was informed to the Arbitral Tribunal that the respondent-Company got struck off.

Thereafter, the Mandate of the learned Arbitrator got expired on 28.02.2023.

However, since the said respondentCompany got restored vide order dated 18.12.2023, this application has been filed to extend the Mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

3. In spite of service of notice, there is no representation on behalf of the respondent, which shows that they are not interested in contesting this matter.

4. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this application and in the interest of justice, this Court is inclined to extend the Mandate of the Arbitrator for a further period of 6 months.

5. Accordingly, this application is allowed and the Mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended for a further period of 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order by the learned Arbitrator.
