ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A) ii of TNP Act and Sections 6, 7 of Tamil Nadu Rectified Spirits Rules 2000 in Crime No.54 of 2020, seek anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners had illegally transported of 407 litres of Rectified spirit.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioner is in no way connected with the alleged offence and that they have been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, they may be granted anticipatory bail.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the first petitioner is involved in twelve other previous cases and the second petitioner is involved in eight other previous cases. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the antecedents of the petitioners are reported to be bad, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
