ORDER

The petitioners apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 332 (c), 75 of BNS read with Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 in Crime No.15 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner under the guise of recording electricity reading, he has misbehaved with the defacto complainant. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court and hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would reiterate the prosecution case and opposed for grant of bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the severity of the allegation that he had misbehaved with the defacto complainant, this Court is of the view that the petitioners does not deserve anticipatory bail.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 25.03.2026 sma 2/4
