[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Monika went missing from 30.01.2021 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her.
2. Today, Mr.Kirubanithi, Inspector of Police, T-3 Korattur Police Station appeared via video conferencing. He stated that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in T-3 Korattur Police Station Crime No.116 of 2021 was registered on 30.01.2021 for "girl missing" and Monika was secured by the police on 11.05.2021 and was handed over to the petitioner.
3. Admittedly Monika's date of birth is 28.02.2003. Now, it is the grievance of the petitioner that Monika has once again run away from her house. It is suspected that she has run away with one Nandakumar, with whom she was in love. Be that as it may, it cannot be stated that Monika is in the illegal custody of any person for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus. Hence, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
