O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to 1st Respondent to grant electricity service connection to the petitioner house pursuant to the petitioner's representation made on 26.11.2022.
2. Mr.Venkata Seshaiya, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for R1 and Mr. M.Alagu Goutham, learned Government Advocate takes notice for R2.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the property vide registered sale deed dad 02.05.1997 and thereafter he submitted a representation for obtaining electricity service connection. However, without considering the representation of the petitioner, the petitioner was made to run from pillar to post to the office of the respondents, But, still electricity service connection has not been given. The petitioner gave his representation as early Page No:2/4
as on 26.11.2022. However, till date, no order has been passed on the same. Hence this Writ Petition.

Though very many grounds have been raised, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation made on 26.11.2022 seeking grant of electricity service connection and pass appropriate orders within the time frame as fixed by this Court.
5. Learned standing counsel appearing for the 1st respondent submits that the petitioner's representation dated 26.11.2022 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.
6. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.11.2022 made seeking grant of electricity service connection and pass appropriate orders on merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
