The petitioner/wife seeks transfer of proceedings in IDOP.No.207 of 2024 from the file of the District Family Court, Ariyalur to the file of the Family Court, Mannargudi.

2.Despite service of notice on the respondent, the respondent has not chosen to enter appearance either in person or through any counsel. The name of the respondent is also printed in today's cause list. The respondent is called and set ex-parte.
3.I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and I have also gone through the averments set out in the affidavit filed in support of the transfer petition.
4.The petitioner is the wife, who seeks transfer of proceedings in IDOP.No.207 of 2024 from the file of the District Family Court, Ariyalur to the file of the Family Court, Mannargudi. The petitioner has expressed her genuine grievances and inconveniences to attend the hearings at Ariyalur and has made out a prima facie case for transfer as prayed for. 5.In the light of the above, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the case in IDOP.No.207 of 2024 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the District Family Court, Ariyalur and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Mannargudi. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 06.06.2025 ata 2/4
