Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to pass final award for the land acquired and possession taken in Survey No.513/2 (as per sale deed) & S.No.513/2A1A situated at Mannur Village, Kancheepuram District by the Government of Tamil Nadu for formation of new SIPCOT Industrial parks, Nemili Scheme, Sriperumbudur, in accordance with law, within a period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to pass final award after determining the compensation as per the procedure contemplated under I, II & III Schedule of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in
Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, consequently direct the respondents to disburse the final award amount within a period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. 2.Since the issue involved in both these writ petitions are one and the same, they are heard together and disposed of by way of a common order.
3.It is represented by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that during the pendancy of these writ petitions, the District Collector, Kancheepuram, has passed final award in Award No.10/2016 dated 24.12.2020, however, copy of the same has not yet been furnished to the petitioners. Hence, this Court may issue direction to the respondents to furnish copy of Award No.10/2016 dated 24.12.2020 to the petitioners so as to enable the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
4.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to furnish copy of Award No.10/2016 dated 24.12.2020 to the petitioners, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, so as to enable the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
5.These writ petitions are accordingly disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
