PRAYER:Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner for cutting the tress in respect of the land owned by the petitioner in Survey No.515/2 and 514/2 in Bahoor Village pursuant to the complaint dated 15.03.2019 given by the petitioner.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner for cutting the tress in respect of the land owned by the petitioner in Survey No.515/2 and 514/2 in Bahoor Village pursuant to the complaint dated 15.03.2019 given by the petitioner.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner of the lands comprised in Survey Nos.515/2 and 514/2 in Bahoor Village and has been growing Eucalyptus trees. The petitioner approached the local Village Administrative Officer for getting certificate for the purpose of cutting trees. The Village Administrative Officer after verifying the records has permitted the petitioner to cut the trees. However, on 15.03.2019 one Ravikumar and others came to the sport and physically prevented the petitioner from cutting the trees and also threatened the petitioner and tried to assault the petitioner's coolies who have been engaged for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
cutting trees. Hence, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondent police seeking protection on 15.03.2019 and the same was not considered. Hence, this petition. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is hereby directed to conduct enquiry on the representation dated 15.03.2019 given by the petitioner along with the counterpart after giving due opportunities of hearing all the parties concerned and pass appropriate orders on merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
