ORDER

The petition has been filed to direct the Respondents to post the Petitioner in the available vacant post in the cadre of Inspector in the Office of the Assistant Director, Local Fund Audit Department, Krishnagiri District, by strictly following the norms envisaged under G.O. Ms. No.10 (P and AR Department) dated 07.01.1994 by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2026

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was appointed as Assistant Inspector in the respondent Department on 06.01.2010. Subsequently, promoted as Deputy Inspector and later, promoted as Inspector and working in Vellore. While so, his wife and son are residing in Krishnagiri, where his wife is working as Government School Teacher.

3. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 23.06.2025, requesting transfer to Krishnagiri District, for which there is no action. Since a vacancy arose in the office of the Krishnagiri District, the petitioner made a fresh representation dated 26.02.2026 before the respondents for which there is no response till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials

available on record.

5. Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2026, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
