ORDER

Heard Mr.C.E.Pratap, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.L.Mahendran,learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the second respondent to give protection to the petitioner's family members based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2014.

3. The petitioner states that he has borrowed some funds from a private financier at Namakkal and though he has been repaying through monthly instalments regularly and so far he has paid 22 instalments, the financier is putting tremendous pressure on the petitioner and claiming exorbitant interest. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation before the second respondent and till date, neither a case has been registered nor CSR number has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

allotted. Hence, the present writ petition.

4. In the light of the above facts, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contention, there will be a direction to the second respondent, viz., Inspector of Police, Namakkal Police Station to consider the petitioner's representation and look into the matter and proceed with the same in accordance with law.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
