This appeal has been filed by the complainant. Aggrieved by the judgment of acquittal given by the Court below in S.T.C.No.64 of 2007 on the file Principal District Munsif Mayiladuthurai.
2. When the matter was taken up on the earlier occasion, it was reported that the matter appears to have been settled.
Today, [i.e.,25.08.2018] none appears for the appellant. Since, representation was made on the earlier occasion that the matter has been settled, nothing survives for further adjudication.
3. It is seen that the transaction is of the year 2005. The complaint was itself lodged in 2007. There is no point in keeping this appeal pending any further. Therefore, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed.
