This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report at early in Crime No.306/2017.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent has registered the case on 06.06.2017 in Crime No.306/2017 under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 307 I.P.C. He further submitted that in the counter case already the respondent has filed a charge sheet and the case was taken on file in Spl.S.C.No.31/2018 on the file of the Principal Sessions Court, Vellore and that being so, the respondent should file a final report in this case also, then only the trial Court will have an opportunity to decide who is the aggressor and therefore he requests to direct the respondent to file a final report at early.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the matter is pending for enquiry and she seeks four weeks time for filing final report.

4. This case and the case in Crime No.305/2017 are cases in counter. Hence, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
