ORDER

The petitioners apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 296(a), 296(b), 115(2) of BNS Act and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, in Crime No.145 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that, due to previous enmity, petitioner attacked the defacto complainant's brother and also misbehaved with the defacto complainant. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court and hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would reiterate the prosecution submitted that in the alleged occurrence, no one sustained injuries, however he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioners.

5. Though, in the alleged occurrence no one sustained injuries, considering the conduct of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the petitioners does not deserve anticipatory bail.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 25.03.2026 sma 2/4
