The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 3 to 6 to restore patta No.69 in respect of the property comprised in S.No.18/4 (present 2/6

T.S.No.10) Ward H Block 20 Alandur Village, measuring an extent of 3735 sq.ft. in the name of the petitioner's vendor Mrs.R.Lakshmi Ammal and to pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 10.11.2021 for grant of patta in the petitioner's name within a time frame.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the property in S.No.18/4 (present T.S.No.10) Ward H Block 20 Alandur Village, measuring an extent of 3735 sq.ft. and the said property was originally owned by his vendor one R.Lakshmi Ammal. The petitioner made representation dated 10.11.2021 to the respondents seeking to transfer patta in his name and since no order has been passed till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2021 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame.

4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2021, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
