When this Court was about to dismiss this Criminal Original Petition on merits, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought permission of this Court to withdraw the same and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners to raise all the points before the Trial Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
after the charges are framed. Further, the Trial Court is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided the accused cooperate by cross-examining the witnesses on the date they are examined in chief, as held by the Supreme Court in Vinod Kumar vs. State of Punjab [(2015) 3 SCC 220] and do not adopt dilatory tactics.
