O R D E R

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking relaxation of condition at paragraph 7 (ii) imposed by this Court vide order dated 20.02.2026 in Crl.A.No.179 of 2026.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant that this Court, while allowing the appeal in Crl.A.No.179 of 2026, vide order dated 20.02.2026, imposed a condition, inter alia, directing the petitioner/appellant to reside at Trichy and report before the Trichy Contonment Police Station, everyday at 10.30 a.m., except on the hearing dates before the trial Court. It is further submitted that the petitioner/appellant has been complying with the said condition from 20.02.2026 religiously and that he is the sole breadwinner of his family and he is suffering from high blood pressure and sugar. Hence, he prayed to relax the said condition.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioner/appellant has been regularly complying with the conditions imposed by this Court. She also submitted that the investigation is still pending. 4.

Having heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and upon perusal of the materials available on record and also taking note of the reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Court is inclined to relax the condition at paragraph 7 (ii) imposed by this Court. 5.

Accordingly, the condition at paragraph 7(ii) imposed by this Court in Crl.A.No.179 of 2026, vide order dated 20.02.2026 is modified to the effect that the petitioner/appellant shall appear before the second respondent police, everyday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter, on every Saturday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. 6.

In view of the above, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands disposed of.
