ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a), 4(1-A) ii of TNP Act, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was illegally found in possession of 256 liquor bottles.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in no way connected with the alleged offence and that he has been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, he may be granted anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the antecedents of the petitioner are reported to be bad, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
