ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the official respondents 1 and 2 to remove the encroachment made by the third respondent in respect of No.16 Mundagakanni Amman Koil II Lane, Mylapore, Chennai 600 004.

2. According to the petitioners, they are the residents of Mundagakanni Amman Koil II Lane, Mylapore, Chennai - 4. Having noticed the encroachment made by the third respondent by putting up a hut in the passage, the petitioners have come forward with the instant writ petition seeking for a direction to the official respondents 1 and 2 to remove the said encroachment.
3. On instructions, a submission was made by the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 on 06.07.2015 that the encroachment on the passage in question will be removed within a period one week. Thereafter, when the matter was taken up on 14.07.2015, the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 took a stand that the submission made by him was not complied with by the officer concerned and thus, sought further one week time.
4. Today, the second respondent namely Mr.K.B.Vijayakumar, Zonal Officer-IX, Corporation of Chennai, is present and has come up with the report stating that the said encroachment had already been removed on 17.07.2015, to which, the learned counsel for the petitioners concurs and as such, nothing remains for adjudication in this writ petition.
