O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 24.10.2016 and not to disturb the possession of the petitioner in the subject property unless and otherwise by due process of law.
2.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4, submitted that the representation made by the petitioner has been rejected by the 2nd respondent by proceedings dated 19.08.2020. The proceedings were also produced before this Court through e-mail communication. The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the property over which the petitioner is claiming right is a water body and therefore, the petitioner does not have any right over the property.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the property is not a water body and the petitioner is entitled to get patta.
4.In view of the subsequent development, the relief as claimed by the petitioner has become infructuous. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the 2nd respondent through proceedings dated 19.08.2020, the petitioner has to independently challenge the same in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Sd/- Asst.Registrar /true copy/ Sub Asst. Registrar To
